Our Southern interpretation of a Prohibition-era classic that stars Dixie Wildflower Honey Vodka instead of gin.
1.5 oz. Dixie Wildflower Honey Vodka
0.5 oz. honey syrup*
0.75 oz. lemon juice
Combine Dixie Wildflower Honey Vodka, honey syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
*To make honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until honey dissolves. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes). Store in refrigerator for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
